Overview
When a drug test result returns positive for a drug on the test, the MRO has the option to overrule the result as Negative Safety Sensitive.
Company Settings
An option on the company settings screen can be used to hide the safety sensitive options for the MRO for non-regulated tests only. This option will hide the Safety Sensitive options from the MRO reporting screen.
If the company setting is checked, the message Safety Sensitive Disabled will show next to the Final Result dropdown.
MRO Workflow
During the MRO review process if the MRO overrules a positive drug as a Negative Safety Sensitive it should be noted on the Lab Results screen.
Once the MRO is ready to rule on the drug test the Final Result will default to Negative Safety Sensitive Now which will report the drug test as Negative Safety Sensitive immediately. The MRO can change the Final Result to Negative Safety Sensitive in 5 Days which will report as Negative and if no changes are made to the result to stop the 5 day pause, the report will re-report out as Negative Safety Sensitive, 5 days from when it was originally reported out as Negative.
This re-reporting will also trigger any notifications set to alert on Negative Safety Sensitive results.
