Customer Settings

Set the Company name field to match the Clearinghouse name if it is different from the Customer name.

Set the Access Enabled option if we are managing the Clearinghouse data and have access to the run queries.

Importing Clearinghouse data

This step should be performed frequently to keep the data in Pulse as current as possible.


Select Query History from the Clearinghouse website

Download Clearinghouse data

1. Select all the options under Query Type

2. Select "Download Query History" 

Importing Clearinghouse data into Pulse

Select the People tab and select the option Import Clearing House from the Menu

After data is imported, a status page will display showing the results

Total Records - Number of records in the downloaded file

Records Created - Records created

Records Updated - Records updated. NOTE: Get more details on this

Records Skipped - Records with the exact same information so they are skipped

Errors - Records that could not be imported because of a mismatch company name or missing required information in a column

View Details Report - Select this to see the errors. This will require the user to fix the problems, then re-import the data. The detail report will look something like this. NOTE: List of error messages and action required will be added.

Matching Clearinghouse Records to Pulse Employees

After importing a Clearinghouse file, if there are any records that did not match automatically, a split screen will show with the Clearinghouse records on the top and all unlinked employees from that company on the bottom.

To link an employee, the user will highlight select the Link action to the right of the employee record to link it to the highlighted Clearinghouse record. 

Repeat the linking steps until all Clearinghouse records are linked.

There are two options at the top of the Clearinghouse list to view the Unmatched records or the Matched records in case records need to be unlinked from an employee.

Export Clearinghouse data

Data can be exported from Pulse from the Companies tab list or from the Company details screen.

2. Select Export Clearing House from the menu

The user will be prompted to select the Query Type setting for the exported data.

This will download a zip file with a separate TSV (Tab Separated Value) file for each company.

NOTE: The Clearinghouse only allows a single company file to be uploaded at once.

Positive report attachment to employee

Positive result documents should be linked on the employee details screen. Set document type to Clearinghouse Positive Report
