Overview
The Pools Tab screen shows all your random pools. Random selections and reports can be run on one or more pools from this screen.
Terminology
| Word or Phrase | Definition |
| Random Pool | A set of configuration settings, selected companies, and eligible employees used to generate a random selection. |
| Random Selection | A selection of donors for a designated period from a Random Pool |
Navigation
Searching Random Pool List
- Use the Search box to find random pools by pool code or pool name
- Use the links on the right to filter by All or Selected pools. The Add/Del Report link shows only the pools that do not have an active selection. The Ready for Selection link shows only pools that do not have an active selection.
Sorting
Columns with an up and down arrow icon can be selected to sort by that column.
Paging
Use the control at the bottom of the list to move through the pages of result or change how many records show in the grid.
Random Pool List
The following columns display on the Random Pool list screen
| Column Name | Description |
| [Check Box] | The check box is used to select one or more pools and select a menu option to perform an action or run a report. See Menu Options. |
| Name | The name of the random pool |
| Code | The pool code. This is a unique code in the system. |
| Frequency | Selection frequency of the pool Monthly - Selection is run once a month Bimonthly - Selection is run every other month Quarterly - Selection is run every 3 months (quarterly) Semiannual - Selection is run twice a year Annually - Selection is run annually |
| RegMode | The regulator mode defined for this pool |
| Admin | The user assigned as the administrator of this pool |
| Start Date | Next random selection start date |
| Selection Date | Last date random selection was run |
| Employee List Updated | Yes - All company employee lists are flagged as updated and ready for next random selection No - One ore more companies employee list is not ready for next random selection |
| Confirmed | Random selection report has been sent out |
| Action | Pencil icon opens the Random Pool Details screen Selections icon opens the Random Selections List screen |
Menu Options
The list of menu options available from the Pools Tab. Select the Pool(s) first then select the menu option to run.

| Add Pool | Add a new random pool. See Pool Details. |
| Generate Random Selection | Generate a random selection of donors from the selected random pool(s). See How to Generate Random Selection. |
| Show/Hide Inactive Pools | Toggle to show or hide inactive random pools |

| Pool Membership Report | A list of all active employees eligible for testing |
| Pool Add/Delete Report | A PDF and Excel file used to update the list of eligible employees for testing |
| Random Selection Report | The list of employees selected for the last random selection. TIP: Get prior random selection reports from the Random Selection screen |
| Random Selection Reminder | A report that reminds customers of the remaining employees requiring testing in the last active selection period |
| Pool Participation Letter | A certificate showing the company participated in a random pool selection |
| Pool Accounts Report | A list of all companies within a pool |
| MIS Report | A report showing the total number of tests performed for each reason and result during the designated period |
