What is MIS Report?

  • A MIS report is statistical yearly summary of an employer's drug and alcohol (if required by the regulator) test activity and test outcomes.
  • Includes the annual number of
    • regulated drug tests conducted
    • reasons for conducted tests
    • negative test results
    • positive test results
    • what drugs caused the positive results
    • tests that were not completed due to specimen tampering, refusal to test or other issues
    • The same type of information is required for the alcohol testing
