Overview
The Company Details screen contains settings that affect an entire company. Each company is defined by a
Company Details
Company Details section
Field | Description |
Name | Company name |
Code | Unique code to identify company |
Primary Contact | Primary contact for this company. Will show name, phone, and email on Company list screen |
Active | Active company in system |
Private | Setting Private for Vendors will prevent them from being used by other users of the system. |
Type | Customer - a customer you are reporting drug test results for Vendor - a collection site company (some collection companies have many locations) Lab - a lab that is used to perform screening or instant testing MRO - a Medical Review Officer company (the MRO is defined as an employee under this company) |
Primary Location | Primary location for the company |
Logo | Company logo to be used on login and reports |
Invoicing Company | Used to group multiple companies on a single invoice |
Company Group | Adding a company to a company group allows it to be managed by users outside of this company |
Pricing Method | Fixed – prices are entered on this company for groups of individual collection sites <Name of Tier> - Tier pricing uses cost to decide a price based on the margin |

Drug Testing section
Field | Description |
Auto Report Negative Non-Regulated Results | when selected and all checks listed above are satisfied, negative non-regulated (DOT) results will be automatically reported by the system without any TPA intervention |
Auto Report Non-Negative Non-Regulated Results | Same as above but for non-negative results |
Auto Report Negative Regulated Results | Same as first option but for negative regulated results First Name & Last Name is required CCF must be attached |
Auto Report Work Location Required | Work location must be set before result will be auto-reported |
Auto Report Collection Location Required | Collection location must be set before result will be auto-reported |
Auto Report Donor Name Required | Donor First Name & Last Name must be set before result will be auto-reported |
Report Drug Levels on Result | The drug levels will be reported on the result that is send out |

Auto reporting of results will occur when the following checks are satisfied:
- Out of Temp flag is not checked
- Invalid Specimen flag is not checked
- Duplicate Result flag is not checked
- Reported date is not set
- Result and Regulated setting check is based on the auto report selected above.
Dates section
Start Date and End Date is the date the company started and ended their relationship with the TPA.
Random Selection Pool section
Displays the pools this company belongs to.
Add/Del Report is the report sent from the Pools screen prior to a random selection. This indicates how the report is sent out, as EXCEL or PDF or EXCEL & PDF
Hosted Service section
System name and System URL are used to designate the custom system name and URL used to access Pulse.
Account Templates section
The account templates are used to format the description column on invoice and bill export files.

Make company tenant | Sets current company to a Tenant company. Tenant companies can manage their own customers and pools within Pulse. |
